Family & Group Bespoke Travel: Multigenerational Planning
Multi-generational trips designed so every age and interest is genuinely looked after.
Luxury family and group travel is the hardest kind of trip to plan well — and the most rewarding when it works. Grandparents, teenagers, toddlers and everyone in between want different things from the same week, and a good itinerary quietly gives each of them what they came for.
We design multi-generational and group travel around that reality: shared moments that everyone actually enjoys, plus room for people to split off and do their own thing. Every room, guide, transfer and reservation is arranged in advance, so no one in your group has to be the trip organiser. For groups travelling under a host or brand, see our hosted group retreats.
Suites, Villas & Connecting Rooms
Preferred standing gets your group the configuration that actually works — adjoining rooms, a whole villa, or a private wing.
One Advisor for the Whole Group
A single point of contact handles every traveler, every payment and every change, so no family member becomes the travel agent.
Trips Built for Mixed Ages
We know which properties genuinely welcome children, which guides can hold a teenager’s attention, and where grandparents will be comfortable.
Why Choose Dorian Destinations for Family & Group Travel?

Everyone Gets Their Trip
A good multi-generational itinerary is not a compromise. We build in the things the whole group does together, and the things people peel off to do separately — then time the days so nobody is exhausted or bored.

The Right Rooms, Booked Properly
Connecting rooms, family suites, private villas and whole-floor bookings — arranged early, confirmed in writing, and configured so the sleeping arrangements actually suit your group.

One Person Handles Everything
Group trips fall apart in the admin: separate payments, different flights, changing numbers. We absorb all of it and give the group one itinerary and one contact.
Exclusive Family & Group Travel Features
The arrangements that keep a group of ten as easy to travel with as a couple.
Villas & Connecting Suites
Whole-property and adjoining-room bookings configured to your group.
Kids’ Clubs & Childcare
Vetted childcare, kids’ programmes and babysitting arranged before arrival.
Private Group Transfers
One vehicle for everyone, or several timed to different flights.
Age-Appropriate Activities
Guides and excursions chosen so teenagers, children and grandparents each get something.
Celebration Planning
Milestone birthdays, anniversaries and reunions arranged quietly and properly.

The Dorian Destinations Family & Group Planning Process
Overseen From Departure to Arrival — A to Z
Discovery Call
We start by listening. Who’s travelling and their ages, what each part of the group wants, mobility and dietary needs, and the budget you’re working with — all of it shapes what comes next.
Destination & Property Match
We match the group to the right destination and property type — villa, resort, ship or lodge — based on what genuinely works for mixed ages rather than what markets well.
Rooms, Rates & Payments
We secure the room configuration, apply partner benefits, and set up payment so each family or traveler can pay their own share without chasing anyone.
Activities & Free Time
Shared excursions, split-off options, childcare and rest days — sequenced so the group spends real time together without living in each other’s pockets.
Departure to Arrival
Flights from different cities, transfers, documents and contingencies. We oversee the whole trip — A to Z — and stay reachable for every traveler in the group.

How Large a Group Can You Plan For?
Anything from a single multi-generational family to a group of forty or more. Beyond about twenty travelers we usually recommend a villa, a whole-property buyout or a hosted group departure.
Can Everyone Pay Separately?
Yes. We set up individual payment for each family or traveler so no one has to collect money from relatives.
How Do You Handle Different Ages and Interests?
By designing the days with both shared and optional elements, and by choosing properties and guides that genuinely cater to children, teenagers and older travelers rather than claiming to.
How Far in Advance Should We Book?
Nine to twelve months for peak-season villas, safari camps and school-holiday travel. Large groups need the longest lead time because the right room configuration is what sells out first.
Ready to Get Everyone in the Same Place?
Tell us who’s coming and roughly when, and we’ll take it from there — property, rooms, activities and every detail in between, overseen from departure to arrival.
